Our Authors

Authors at Large (AAL) has a large and extensive international collective of authors who join us at retreats to lead workshops, and who act as individual mentors and editors for our clients.  Our authors are well published award-winners, critically acclaimed in their fields, and have strong professional qualifications, including as teachers of creative writing.  Our collective currently includes Hala Alyan (fiction/poetry), Sybil Baker (fiction/nonfiction), Richard Blanco (poetry), Kim Echlin (fiction/nonfiction), Rachel Kadish (fiction), Brenda Miller (nonfiction/fiction/poetry), Marshall Moore (fiction/publishing), Alvin Pang (poetry), Natasha Sajé (poetry/memoir)  James Scudamore (novel), Ira Sukrungruang (nonfiction/poetry/fiction), Madeleine Thien (novel), Nicole Walker (nonfiction/poetry).

The poet and memoirist and the writer & publisher are two most recent additions to our collective.
